How do I share a plan with somebody?
Sharing happens at the folder level, not the plan level. Open the folder you want to share, go to People, and turn on sharing to get an invite code. Send that code to whoever you want in, and they tap Join a folder in Pace and paste it. Everything in that folder, and everything you add to it later, is shared with them.
Somebody joined, but they can't edit or start anything.
Anyone who joins with a code arrives as a viewer. The folder's owner can change that in People: a runner can start and run sessions, and an editor can also change the plans themselves.
Someone I don't recognise is in my folder.
Anyone holding the invite code can join. In People, the owner can remove a member, generate a new code (which stops the old one working), or turn sharing off entirely. If the code was shared more widely than you meant, generate a new one first, then remove anyone who shouldn't be there.
Can I move a plan between folders?
Yes. Open the plan, choose More actions, then Move to another folder. This changes who can see it: a plan moved into a shared folder becomes visible to that folder's members.
I'm not getting any notifications.
Work through these in order:
1. iOS permission. Open Settings → Notifications → Pace and confirm notifications are allowed. If they were declined once, this is the only place to turn them back on.
2. Focus and Do Not Disturb. A Focus mode silences Pace unless you have allowed it through.
3. The plan's own settings. Each plan has a Remind setting, and each person in a shared folder has their own copy of it. Open the plan and check yours.
If all three look right and alerts still aren't arriving, email support with your device model and iOS version.
Why do other people in my folder get different alerts than I do?
Notification settings are personal. The plan's owner sets the starting point, but once you change yours, yours stays. An owner changing a plan's settings does not overwrite a choice somebody has already made.
An alert arrived late, or not at all.
Alerts travel through Apple's push notification service and your device's own alarm features, so delivery depends on your network, your battery and Focus settings, and Apple's infrastructure. Please don't rely on Pace where a late or missed alert would be dangerous, including medication timing, anything medical, or anything safety-critical. The Terms of Use spell this out.
What does Pace Essentials include, and what does it cost?
Essentials is Pace's subscription, sold through the App Store and billed by Apple. The price, the billing period, and any free trial you're eligible for are shown in the app and in the App Store before you're charged. The full terms are in the Terms of Use.
How do I cancel?
In your Apple account, not in Pace. Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone and cancel there. Pace can take you straight to that screen: tap the subscription row on the Profile tab. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the period you've already paid for intact.
I paid, but Pace says I'm not subscribed.
Go to the Profile tab and tap Restore purchases. Use it after reinstalling, after moving to a new phone, or when a purchase didn't register. Restoring looks up the subscription attached to the Apple ID currently signed in on the device, so if you bought with a different Apple ID, switch to that one first. If it still doesn't find it, email support and say which Apple ID was used.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its own policies, and we cannot issue or reverse a charge. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something in Pace went wrong, tell us as well.
What happens if my subscription ends?
Nothing you made is deleted. Folders you own become read-only: your plans and their history stay there to read, and subscribing again makes them editable and runnable exactly as they were. Folders somebody else owns and shared with you keep working.
How do I sign in?
With Sign in with Apple or Google. Use the same one each time: signing in with the other provider creates a separate account that won't see your folders.
How do I delete my account?
On the Profile tab, tap Delete my account. It removes your profile and the folders you own, along with the plans and sessions inside them, and it cannot be undone. If you own a folder other people depend on, hand it over first. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription, so cancel that separately in your Apple account.
What does Pace know about me?
The Privacy Policy is the full answer. The short version is that people in a folder with you can see your display name and the email address on your account, along with the plans and sessions in that folder.
Is there an Android version, or a web version?
No, and none is planned. Pace is built for iPhone, and everyone you share a folder with needs one too.
Pace won't install on my iPhone.
Pace needs a recent version of iOS. Check Settings → General → Software Update. The App Store listing states the minimum version.
